Liebster Awards!

Hi lovlies....I'm home sorta sick so I thought I should probably do the Liebster awards that I was nominated for a while ago!

If you could make the grass any colour, what colour would you make it?

I actually really like green grass. If anything though, maybe pink or purple or something neon so it's totally unnatural-like. 

What is your biggest dream?

To be successful, not necessarily money-wise but just happy, in love, safe, and rich enough to travel a lot.

Sweet or savoury?

Is this even a question? Sweet. Duhhh

What is your favourite ice cream flavour?

hmmmm well. My family is sort of obsessed with icecream so we eat ALOT of it. For a normal flavor, I really like cookie dough and mango. My favorite ben and jerry's flavor is phish food or ny super fudge. My favorite more unconventional flavors are coconut curry, cherry lavender, salted caramel and tahini. 

If you could go back in time, when and where would you go and why?

I would loooooveeee to be in NYC in the 20s, solely for the Great Gatsby-esque parties and glam. Or ancient greece. Or LA in the 80s. or, or or....

If you could be on the cover of any magazine, which one would you choose?

Of course, the first thing that came to mind was vogue. But that's only if I become super famous. Actually, to be on the cover of most magazines means your famous. Anywayyyysss maybe ID because they feature really smart people that have done really interesting things, mainly fashion-associated. 

Favourite cheesy, cringey or just plain embarrassing film or band/artist that you are sometimes embarrassed to admit that you really like?

I haven't quite yet let go of my Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus obsession from 5th grade. Yup. 

How are you feeling right now?

Well. I have barely gotten out of bed today! I cried for like an hour earlier for various reasons. I have my period and it has been blizzarding and I realllyyy didn't want to go to school so anyways that why I'm home. 

If you could have one designer handbag, which brand would you choose and why?

Ummmm I've never really thought about this and therefore don't know very many designer handbag brands! So probably one of the classy black chanel ones with the chain because they're classy and I'm classy and I like classy and enough with this bye.

What are you passionate about?

I honestly am still trying to figure it out.

What do you do to cheer yourself up if you are sad?

listen to happy music, lay in bed, watch new girl and the mindy project and 2 broke girls, eat lots of sweets

well. Colorado is gorgeous and all but boring and there aren't that many cool young people in my town like Rookie or whatever. Everybody is obsessed with sports and outdoorsie stuff.

Just some splendid little things

Oh Paul, how great can you get? You have no idea how much I appreciate that I have the same camera. no. idea.

 So I know you all know Kara Hayward (Suzy Bisshop anyone?) and you have probably already seen these, especially if you have a Lula subscription, in which case I hate you and you should go die in a hole. 

I'm not even going to begin on how gorgeous she is and how unfair it is that I'm not here. She's only 14 Why am I not her?

the cover of the current W magazine is sorta just a little amazing

digital polaroid anyone? I know, I know- the old ones are cooler, but this is much cheaper for ink (not film-its like a mini printer inside the camera!) so it's on the top of my wish list. The only concern I might have is that the effect isn't as cool but who knows. 

just about the best thing ever. Was talking to my parents about college yesterday and basically started crying.

what am I talking about? fuck college, I'm moving to Paris and starting a poem shop.

printing it out and bringing it to school, they won't even know what hit them.

HAHAHAHA idk if any of you even watch Sherlock but I'm freaking out because the next season probably isn't coming out till early next year because of the stupid HOBBIT that they are both in (which I just saw like an hour ago btw) and I honestly am not sure if I can wait that long. I don't even know anymore.

Oh gosh. 

well happy new year guyyyz!

I know it's been forever since I've last posted and it's bad and I'm not even going to tell you all of the reasons why. 

let's just say I was "spending time with family" okay?

Now. What should I post?

I feel so incredibly uninspired right now. Even though I just looked at all of everybody else's amazing blogs and got depressed. 

I feel like I'm loosing my cool. Or gaining too much of it? Something like that. Like looking at other people's blogs and seeing these fashionable Rookie girls in tutus and tacky sweaters- I love it! And I've associated myself as that kind of person too! But I never, evvverrrr wear things like that to school, even though my outfits are still considered pretty "out there" where I live. I feel like I'm becoming too normal and boring, and not just because I don't where vintage jackets covered in pompoms and pins everyday. It's sort of hard to explain. Maybe I will make a whole post on it some other time. 

Now that that's over with. 

For the past week I've been in San Francisco (well actually some tiny town by the ocean an hour away with some family friends), which was great because I got to go thrift/vintage shopping (even though I din't get much) and ate really good food.

My mom and I went to an amazing Goodwill and spent like 2 whole hours trying things on. I ended up with a pair of high-waist jeans, a comfy striped shirt, and this cool black one that I'll take pictures of later. 

Then we went to tons of vintage shops in the Mission (i.e. hip) district. 

There was some cute stuff, but like I was ranting about, I will probably never wear that gorgeous vintage sequined dress or petticoat. 

I was on the search for vintage band/graphic tees, which I didn't find for any reasonable price, sadly. It then became necessary for us to take a trip to Brandy Melville, a relatively trendy store that my parents hate because it's basically some little scraps of fabric with some design for $30. 

Which is true. 

But I realllyyyyy needed  some shirts and I knew they had some cute ones and they only have the store in SF, LA, Berlin and like 2 other places so I forced my family to endure it. 

I got a bod dylan tank that I actually really like....

it obvi doesn't look quite as hot on me...

See? Sort of trendy and boring right? but it's what I wear :( somebody help me please.

Before California I was at my grandparents' for Christmas, which was really fun and the whole family was there so that was nice. It snowed the night before Christmas so in the morning it was goooorrrgeous!

For Christmas I got the doc Martens, a quilt for my bed, a ski pass, some old books from my grandpa, a hand knitted sweater from my grandma, mittens from my aunt and uncle, a sweater from my cousins, and a trip to San Francisco.

I looked everywhere for Lula in SF but couldn't find it ANYWHERE. Does anybody know where to get it in the U.S.?  

Does anybody want to do a care package-pen pal-idk thing by any chance? I thought it might be sorta fun...
