I like highways, people in museums, the mountains, and cafés.

Let's go...

drink a coffee...

...and watch the sun set.

An outfit from a while ago when it was spring and I was in Colorado. Ew look at the trees there aren't any leaves ewewew winter.

sunglasses-TJ Maxx?; shirt-Walmart/DIYed; skirt-Forever 21; jacket-thrifted; shoes-Doc Martens

made with iron-on transfer paper, not my drawing (source unknown)
I'm posting from my iPod, so the format might be a bit weird, sorry!

It makes me so happy to be in a city in which everyone has such a unique style and I don't feel incredibly out-of-place wearing something like this. There are 2 huge thrift stores here that have more pricey (but still really cheap) vintage sections and then clothes by weight. One has a happy hour on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday so we always go during those times to get the 30% discount! I got the skirt I'm wearing at one a couple weeks ago along with a flannel and tropical-print coverup, and today I got these adorable pinstripe dungarees (only 7€!):

For summer reading I have to read To Kill a Mockingbird and Slaughterhouse-Five. I finished To Kill a Mockingbird a few days ago and loved it! These dungarees will definitely be perfect for channeling Scout. Mascha and I are going to Prague next week (alone!) for a few days and I'm incredibly excited, so expect pictures soon!

Some random pictures from today:

             Cool east German building

This did not end well (hint: those                plants are poison ivy)

North African food for lunch 😍

                         That's it!

Yes, it's time.

I'm going to write a blog post.

Maybe. Here goes:

Hi people of the blogosphere! Long time no see! Obviously, I have not been the most-----i am now writing about 2 hours later, because the grandma of my best friend who I am staying with just came so I had to speak german and play cards with her (see what I mean?)-----reliable blogger, for various reasons I will only summarise for you.
The last time I posted something was right before school ended, so I was super busy with projects and final exams. The day that school ended Mascha and I went to my grandparents' farm for 5 days, then to NYC for a week, then to berlin, then to an island in the baltic sea with no internet, and now we are back in Berlin. So I haven't had much time...
Today I met up with a friend of mine from colorado, and then I went and sat in a little cafe for 3 hours and drank coffee and ate a sandwich and drew and watched people, which was amazing and perfect and I felt like I was in a movie or that someone should really make I movie about me or that wait no I should make a movie. It was very emotional and I listened to High Highs the whole time which made it even more perfect. Like look where I sat:

(excessive photos I know I know)

And here are some random pages of my sketchbook that I did recently.

I am so happy to be back in europe...

UGH so I just wrote a whole post and then it didn't save and I'm so mad.
But anyways, these are some simple outfits that we wore to school the other day...
The first one is Mascha (follow her tumblr strawberryfield-s!).
I'm going to miss her so much...
Speaking of which, I have to go do homework.
shirt-H&M; Skirt-UO; socks-H&M; shoes-thrifted

jacket-thrifted; shirt-JCPennys; skirt-UO; Converse

we have been making a lot of alphabet bead bracelets lately, like the ones I'm wearing an these:

hope you are all having a lovely day!

So now I'm just going to ignore the fact that I haven't blogged for more than a month due to various reasons and save you from hearing about them all, and just share some pictures with you!
The first ones are from a river trip that we went on during spring break, down the San Juan river in Utah. It was super fun, but some days were stormy and horrible...and we were definitely ready to get back to civilization and running water after a week!
obviously, river trips are extremely fashion-foward!

ancient native american ruins along the river

brief hiatus from the storm

...and these pictures are from about a month ago, of my friend mascha (the one who is staying with me for 3 months) and me.

All photos by me,
Please don't steal!
Feel free to ask if you want to use them though!

I have posts lined up, so hopefully it won't be another month before I post again! xx
