I like highways, people in museums, the mountains, and cafés.

HEYYYY so I'm finally gonna show you guys the day of the dead barbie I made a couple weeks ago! I know Day of the Dead was a while ago now but oh well ok?
Here's some inspiration to start with...

These are how they started off. I used the one on the left, my friend Lily the one on the right. I didn't post any pictures of hers because it isn't done yet.

And then, after lots of painting and letting it dry...

(wow that was a lot of dots to type :P)

Ta-daahhhhhhh

Notice my super messy desk

If you haven't noticed, I hung up some christmas lights in my room and just looovee them and the perfect light that they give off <3

We painted them white first (with acrylic paint), let them dry, painted another coat of white, let that dry,  and then I used black acrylic paint to draw the skeleton. I had to look up a picture of a skeleton online and I think that it's pretty accurate! It looks like there are too many ribs but that's how many were on the picture sooo....

I painted the eyes, nose and lip stich things with paint, and then used a black ball point pen to make the designs, which I later filled in with some fine point markers.

 Christmasss lighhhtttsss! <3

And then Frida because I love her and she is into Day of the Dead <3

Let me know what you think! <3

xx
